These vintage Snake clip earrings are set in 9ct Yellow Gold, Circa 1960.

The Snakes head is beautifully engraved, with Rubies set as the Snakes eyes.

The Ruby is considered to be the most powerful gem of the universe, given as a gift, the Ruby is a symbol of friendship and love.

Serpents represent love, loyalty and friendship, what a lovely combination. Serpents were also given as a token of love and friendship during the Victorian Era.

Fully hallmarked on the reverse.

This is the first pair of snake clip earrings we have encountered.

They are truly fabulous, they look wonderful worn.
