A fantastic earring and necklace set from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! Crafted in 9k gold, this set features rich red garnets accented with pearls. The necklace displays a small oval garnet cabochon connected by a bar link accented with a small seed pearl to a larger garnet cabochon, both of which are secured in bezel settings. The smaller cabochon is affixed to a fine curb chain which clasps with a simple spring ring stamped with a maker's mark and a "375" purity mark. The earrings begin with a simple gold locking ear wire and feature a striking pear shaped garnet cabochon connected to the ear wires by a hinged pearl link, allowing the earrings to move freely. This set has a delicate and feminine look and would be a unique addition to any collection!
Measurements: The necklace measures approximately 16 1/2" in length. The garnet and pearl pendant measures 1 5/8" tall and just over 3/8" wide . The earrings hang approximately 1 1/2" in length and are just under 3/8" at their widest point.
Condition: The earrings are in good antique condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold settings. The garnets and pearls are all intact and securely set.
